Tip for a day – Respect the time of other people 2

Nothing personal but so many people are just too lazy to do some homework themselves. There are tutorials, FAQ’s and Forum posts with the same topic but you are not willing to follow them yourself. It is much easier to go and ask a question although the question has been answered many times already in those places. This kind of behavior is disrespectful for other people’s time. You have to understand that everyone has their own personal life and if people are constantly asking the same questions over and over again, it robs the precious time from their daily life. If you say you don’t have time to search for yourself, then maybe the thing you are working on is not the thing you need to do because your priorities are not right.
If you want to get things done, you have to do some things yourself, you just cannot push everything on other’s shoulders.

Sorry but it makes me mad if people act that way (yes it is my problem if something disturbs me but this is another topic). It takes me at least couple of hours to create one tutorial video (recording, cutting, editing etc) and when some new member joins as my referral I always send them the link to my tutorials hoping they will watch them first before they come and ask me: “How? Where? What? Etc. If you cannot get help from those tutorials or you are having some problems with them, I will gladly help you out.  But to come and ask me the question which is clearly answered in tutorials is disrespectful for my work and time. I have created those videos for YOU not for myself. So please do your part and I will gladly do my part if problems will arise. Yes I´m your “sponsor”, but to misuse this relationship and hope that your sponsor has to do everything for you, is also not right I believe.

I´m not the only one who faces this. So many people are sacrificing their precious time to make FAQ’s, tutorials and so on but still new members are too lazy to do their job and bother other people with the topics which have been covered already.

So: “Respect the time of other people! First search for yourself, then ask for guidance.”

Thank you for you attention and more understanding is appreciated.
Have a great and wonderful day 🙂

I couldn’t have said this any better.
Being in the network marketing business, I am constantly bombarded with new people coming and asking questions even though I provide them with the important videos to watch and updates to read.
Success in this industry doesn’t come by asking the same questions over and over again, but by doing due diligence and educating ourselves on what we are getting into by watching the tutorials, video interviews and updates that are constantly posted.

    Great post!

Thank you! And yes, in today’s society people want to have a quick fix for everything. “Watching a 20-minute long video? Are you crazy? I don’t have time for that” 😉
You are willing to work 8 hours a day for somebody else and when you have to educate yourself to become your own boss, you don’t have 20 minutes to spare? Something is not right here 😉
